Dodgeball founders quit Google in style.

    Alex Rainert and Dennis Crowley who founded Dodgeball, which is now owned by Google, have announced their decision to quit Google through flickr with their thumbs down. The message below the picture quotes

    In the past. founders of SketchUp and Pyra labs had quit Google after a short time of Google acquiring their services. Is this some sort of trend?

    Wow! Very interesting. I hadn't heard about Pyra and SketchUp, but then again.... I've never heard of Pyra or SketchUp.

    I'm guessing Google will try to avoid this, what's the point of spending money on a project and then letting it die?

    I think they have to many projects going on all at once. I bet the owners of Dodgeball are happy with thier bank accounts.

    Pyra Labs are the people that founded Blogger. They went on to do Odeo and Twitter.
