Hi, I've listened to several experts saying Docstoc is cool. I uploaded several articles there, but when I went back and checked, I realized that the links inside my articles can't link me to my website. After that, I tried to upload my articles in format of .doc, .docx, .pdf, but all were not able to link to my website. I realized 90% of Docstoc users are having this problem. They had their articles uploaded, but their links aren't working. I only manage to find few users with working links. Anyone facing the same problem too?
Its not a problem, they recently did this, i think now they want their visitors to click adsense ads.
Due to popularity of this back link method (lately) it was clear that was a matter of time till docstoc do this. The junk uploaded only for the purpose of backlinking and ranking probably was out of control.
In that case, do you have Dofollow list of similar directories like Docstoc, whereas the links can be clicked? Thks again!
Didn't know about this new change at Docstoc. That kinda sucks. The two other doc sites that are worth bothering with would probably be http://www.scribd.com and http://www.slideshare.net
Docstoc links have been unclickable since the 14th or 15th of April. I had over 200 documents on there (most of which were on page 1 of Google) -- but since this problem began, I've deleted each one of them. BTW I'd be wary of Scribd too since they are known to delete whole accounts at the slightest whiff of promotion. For me, it's back to article marketing.
