I got a PM from someone (dont want to disclose the identity) for signing up to a ContentGain Beta.

    The PM said,

I am not sharing the URL rightaway coz i want to ensure the anonymity of the user and program.

    What is ContentGain?
ContentGain, a new automated content syndication product from Doclix, allows you to add premium content to your website for free while increasing your ad revenue from your existing ad provider (e.g. Google AdSense).

Using a self service interface, website owners and bloggers can enhance their website with content from premium sources by simply adding a few lines of HTML code to their pages. ContentGain will automatically analyze the text on the web pages and will display related news stories and articles (see example). When a user clicks on a headline of an article, we display the entire article in a floating layer within your web page (see example). You can fully customize the appearance of both the ContentGain unit and the content panel by choosing colors and fonts that match your site.

How do I earn additional ad revenue?
When a user clicks on a headline within the ContantGain unit, we display the full article on a page that carries your ads (see example). You can continue working with your existing ad network. Simply submit your ad code in the set-up wizard and we will place your ads in the content pages that we generate.

What you guys think of this? Worth signing up? will this create any issues?

I suppose this is adsense revenue sharing. I seriously hope its done through the API.

What do they get from it. I get nervous about adsense revenue sharing. If someone gets mad they might do something that hurts everyone involved.

Yeah. I have a few questions regarding this:

    1) Does Doclix stores my adsense pub id? I guess yes.
    2) Can i run doclix across multiple sites?
    3) Is it done through adsense API? non-API sites are eventually gonna

It's a bit confusing, why do we setup our ad code in their system and to be published on our own site? could you paste the example? Also, I don't think you can use adsense on a floating layer (I had read about this, but couldn't find in adsense policies, or it has been changed (?))
