Do your Yahoo SERPS look like a YoYo

As we know there is a merger that is going on with Bing and Yahoo. Yahoo has always been a good solid reliable traffic source for me, but I have started seeing some strange things happening over the past 2-3 weeks. My question is, anyone else seeing this up and down and major shifts in rankings for keywords?

The bewildering thing to be is that there seems to be no reason for these changes. There are certain longstanding pages that have not changed over the past 6 months that certain keywords have dropped from 1st page to 8th. There are other pages that have updates recently doing the same thing. Lastly there are pages that started ranking well about 2 months ago only to drop significantly in the past 3 days. Anyone else seeing the same thing? If so have you been able to narrow down the possible causes?

I have experiences similar to yours. Many of my websites have a stable ranking in Google and Bing but not in Yahoo anyway. I would say Yahoo does rely too much on keyword density and a such on-page factors. You have to fine tuned your page contents and element until you found the best metric. :) However, most of site that have a good ranking in Yahoo are less likely to have the same in Google for similar keyword.

Yahoo has always been that way with my site. Just a mess.
