My eyes are always sore. Even when Im away from the computer theyre sore. What do you guys do to prevent eye strain?
if your eyes are always sore you should see an optometrist, you may need glasses. i dont really but i usually take breaks all the time
I think you have some problems with your eyes. Probably due to over exposure to PC monitor. Just take rest (i.e. look at some where else other than the monitor once in a while) and if possible go for a cool walk (That will do a lot good to your physique too). Even if the problem persists, do contact an ophthalmologist sooner
I usually get headaches instead of sore eyes. Just take off your glasses if you have them and rest your eyes a bit. I just changed to using the Leopard grassy wallpaper since it is a lot eye-friendly with all the greens...
No. I don't get eye problems. Only when sitting in the dark, but then I either go to bed because it is late or switch a light on.
For me they Don't sore even If I sit 5hours in row at front of screen , and after 4years I still have eagle eyes
The old eyes tend to get tired if I've been online more then 15 hours a day for a few days. Mind you I know it's time to make an appointment with the optometrist but I've been putting it off. Though it is on my things to do list for the new year. I'd suggest you take breaks from sitting in front of the computer screen and you should definately go see an optometrist as soon as possible. If you wear eyeglasses or contact it sounds like your prescription would need to be changed. If you don't wear eyeglasses/contacts it sounds like you'll be needing some soon.
If they're always sore, it could be a problem with your eyes. If it were just at the computer, I'd tell you to check your monitor's refresh rate, and possibly raise it.
Mine don't usually get sore. Although i'm on the computer 8+ hours a day my eyes seem to tollerate it...no idea why.
