Before month I create a new blog ( test project) .One of my friends in 10 hours try to explain me that if you site/blog is new (a few months) can't be indexed better that an old one ( 5+years) . The example is with same link strategy same nicsh same platform ...Will be happy to see your point of view
I personally don't believe this to be true. I have created many new websites in the past that have all been indexed very quickly on Google. Even if they were just a week old. You just need to make sure you submit your site to google webmaster tools, verify it, submit a sitemap file and then build some powerful links to your site. This will get your website and all its pages crawled quickly and pages will get indexed. Its possible that indexing can take longer on Bing & Yahoo as its well known that those 2 search engines are slow to index pages.
Indexing depends on the quality of your website/blog. If you site have good amount of quality and relevant contents and updated regularly than your site will index by google fast.
It's not true. New blog also indexed by google if your blog post is unique, Every search engine wants quality post, No matter how old your blog.
That is not true at all. You seem to lack an understanding of how search engines work. Search engine spiders crawl the web for pages and other content. You need quality backlinks to get indexed. Established sites get new pages indexed quickly because they have a lot of backlinks.
It's not a new or old blog, blog need periodically updates post. so google can index your blog according to your update.
Well, if its a new blog, start with allowing the search engine bots to visit your blog. Second you can submit it to the search engines and have schedule set for every blog post you write. For example, what I do is, once I have written an article on my blog, then immediately, within 24 hours, I bookmark it to 50 book marking sites. These sites are already having good standing position in the eyes of search engines, which means, the bots must be visiting every minute or second. Then if you have a fan page or a FB profile, share the link of the blog article there too. The more number of links direct to your new blog or blog article will catch attention and the bots will come and visit you. Make sure you have a particular time set in between your blog articles, so once the search engine knows you write article once a week or twice a week, they will visit you in that manner.
Hi, Yes compare than the new blog, the old blog will rank faster. Because it already have a decent traffic and back links. as well as old blog have some domain authority and page authority. If we start a new blog, its very difficult to rank that blog. But it will take some month or year to rank in a good position. Thanks & Regards Mathavan K
I`M asking in the case that old domain ( never used before but registred 10 years ago ) and new domain registred today . Do the old one only because is old will index faster .
Quite frankly having a niche domain is definitely a prominent configuration, whenever you're experimenting with search engines, one must understand optimism especially when you're multilingual input on your blog post is truly searchable online.
