Can't agree. There is an element of truth in your words but... some people work really hard for penny! You should work smart and rest. What is the use of all those money without happiness... true happiness....

I don't know what do you mean by hard work. All i know and believe is that sleeping is a big waste of time. So, I work 19-20 hours per day.As after death, will have long time to sleep.

I have a happy medium since I have separated the work from office.

I go to my office, work. Then come back to home and enjoy family life.

I think the trick is to find what you really enjoy doing, even though that can be difficult. Working hard at something you love doesn't really feel like work.

Hey guys I just started to check out this community, It does look like a good place to get information and feedback on how things are done!, I don't want ho hijack the thread or anything but could somebody help me get started?

I cover the basics (web design, css, little SEO(almost none), good copywriting)

Thanks a lot I also second TFIF

There are any complains from your family concerning your hard work and not spending time with them?
Or your are feeling tired and missing them? If the answers are "yes" you need to slow down, for sure.:) Family is more important then money!

I have a simple rule: start work at 7am stop at 8pm and spend time with wife.

Sunday is a leisure day spent with wife.

Though many people are of the opinion that the more you work the more you will get money, I have certain rules which I generally stick to. I have portioned my time to different jobs at hand and I will definitely take some reasonable rest (7 hours sleep with additional mandatory time to spend with my kids). More money will make you more rich but it should not rob your mental peace.
