After a lot of negative reviews all over the internet about vista, I think I will wait until win7 has been out for a while and has proven itself. For now I will continue using xp.

I've been using Window 7 for months now and love it - I just bought a new netbook (one of those tiny laptops) and it comes with XP. I'll be replacing it with Windows 7 ASAP!

That's a bad idea. Those little atom processors run XP fine, but they'd struggle with Windows 7.

I installed Ubuntu on a netbook and stripped it down to the bare minimum to run. It works great. :)

i bought a new computer with 6gb ram and xp wont able to detect more than 3gb
i think xp is getting old, hardware r really awesome these days, we will have to replace this system
but i wont replace right away when win7 releases, lets wait, see what's the news, what other people think of it; maybe 6 months later, will be the best moment to purchase my copy for win7.

I am still using XP and my PC runs really great with it so I don't see a reason for me to change OS for now. Maybe when I will buy new PC I will change OS too.

Completely agree with this statement. No reasons to supersede Win XP operation system by a new one.

There is no reason to go to Windows 7 from XP unless of course you buy a new pc/laptop and Windows 7 comes built in with it. Other than that, XP is just fine until your system is ready for upgrade.

I tried out Windows 7 and it was great however, I still prefer XP. With Windows 7, the classic start menu is no longer available.
