Western Union is quite safe and quick. I have used it quite a lot of times and never had any problem with it. Though fees are a bit high but you get money in only few minutes. No need to worry about it. There site might help you. If you are from USA (your location tells you are) then you can directly pay on their website using your credit card and you will not have to go to their office.

    Hope this helps.

I used Western Union just to receive money, and it's great. The fees are a bit high, but is a good service.

There is no chargeback option in WU.

Right, but you get the address, phone number and ID card info of the person you are sending WU to. So this is a bit safer than other online payment processors :)

Eh, I would not rely on that. Having someone's details is good for a transaction to be called "safer". Living in the same country with the seller would help, too ;)
Otherwise you might end up wasting time on chasing people that are at the other end of the world..

I bet you can rely on it as a Receiver. I can, too ;)
As a sender, I would not be too happy to send bigger amounts of money via WU knowing that I can't get it back if our deal goes wrong at some point..

If the money are not picked up by the Receiver the funds return to sender. So, if you know to whom you're sending and you are sure about the transaction, there's no problem there. Unless you're referring to something else...

I have used Western Union number of times. Just be careful with your MTCN number, dont ever tell it to anyone else.

I use western union to receive the payment from my US client. Its really safe and very fast transaction, within a minute. But don't forget to collect the MTCN number from the sender. MTCN is a 10 digit secret code. This code will required at the time of withdraw the money.

    Thanks
    W.S
