Do you use Twitter

I just want to ask why so many people now a days using twitter whats the reason behind this because i have joined and don't know whats its main aim to join this social networking site is there any special features we get or just there are so many member are there that's why we have to join.

 

I use Twitter only for marketing purposes I'm not sure what attracts people to it.

 

I've used it. Its fun at first, but it lost it's novelty quickly for me. I don't get whats so interesting about it now.

 

I am using it a lot.. I am mainly using it for marketting my website and as a results, I am getting a good amount of traffic to my website.

I'm using twitter to gain my traffic and it's really effective. All you need to do is gain your followers and interact to the community. Because people will not follow an account who usually promote a link.

 

I can see, people are crazy about twitter, i am also using it. You can keep on connecting with the society.

I am waiting for my profile to get PR. It will be move ++ advantage to post the links through PR profile.

 

nah, i don't use it, i just take a look sometimes to my friends and my favorite site's tweeting

 

Now I use twitter a lot. It is the main source of traffic for my blog. I mostly use twitter to promote my new postings and make friends.

Twitter is all about being social and making connections. When you connect with people, then they get interested in what you post. For every link I post on twitter i get 3-10 hits direct plus all the retweets.

It is a very useful tool to promote websites, especially if you have a good list of relevant followers who are interested in what your site has to offer.

 

twitter is good for people who are too popular to be able to communicate with their friends individually (like celebrities). So, they just choose to speak to the world in general. Good for sites, companies etc as well since they can all come to one platform and communicate to their customers and to the world in general. there are also some who use twitter to stay in touch with friends etc. but I would guess such users are few in numbers and sooner or later they will quit using twitter for one on one communication. It's like a blog and u wouldn't use your blog and ur friends blogs to stay in touch with them even though it is possible to do so.

 

I use twitter but not too much and only for fun.
