I think twitter is now days is not successful in marketing as before. As now there are two many spammers are there which ruins the environment of twitter. Thats why I had left twitter for marketing puspose

I have been using it lately, but have noticed that the visitors just go through my tweet link once and never return them selves! But still good!

I do use it as part of our marketing strategy. However, it's all down to posting something searchable, as well as having enough followers. My personal thoughts are that time is better spent working on backlinks, as 70% of traffic comes from Google and over 90% from search engines as a whole.

I've now started using Twitter ads and am seeing about $1 per tweet. Very nice. :)

Twitter takes too much work. If you're just spamming it, you're wasting your time. If you're taking the time to build relationships and rapport -- which is the only way Twitter is really functional as a marketing tool -- you'd better be selling $x,xxx products, membership sites, or something that gives you residual income.

Looking into it but i find the idea of it rather annoying. Seems like it'll take more than 15 min of work everyday.

Yep, that's my experience as well, you'll get alot of traffic that barely converts, but that's the same with almost all community type sites.

If you don't want to spend more than 15 minutes of work for something than you shouldn't be building websites mate. Please change your point of view about this and get started ;)
