Do you use templates or get custom designs? (For your product review site)

Alright, so I have quite a few things set up already but as far as creating the actual site goes...I'm clueless. I have 0 knowledge when it comes to coding, I know the basics of using a FTP client...but that's it!

So do most of you hire someone (ignoring those who can do it themselves) to make the site for you? If not, where should I look for a template? It doesn't matter if it's a paid template (within reason).

Also, to give you an idea of my "vision". Simplistic front page for visitors to stumble on, nothing too flashy - just enough to get people's attention and for them to be interested enough to convert to a hop.

Ideally I'd like to have three Clickbank products, all the same niche of course, on the front page with a short review, which entices them to click to read the full review. There will also be the option to click on the product picture and go to the sales page. If the visitor goes to the review page, I'd like to have the full review, and also link to the sales page there as well.

This is probably the only twist in the design. Once the reader gets to the review page, I'm thinking it would be better if there were articles on the right hand side as well. This would be so I can get organic traffic while getting traffic, and strong backlinks, from article directories (such as EZA).

The domain itself is five years old in September and it's indexed in Google, has quite a few backlinks, etc...so getting organic traffic for some longtail keywords shouldn't be too difficult.

Is this plan feasible? I really want to add loads of content on the site while putting articles up in directories but I'm not sure how to link the front page/reviews/articles all together so that there aren't any lost hops.

You guys are the experts, let me know, thanks.

The only coding I even have the slightest experience with is Flash, and when I learned about that, it was almost five years ago. I can make simple games (like ping pong, trivias, etc) and even create short movies with stick figures and such, but coding websites is beyond me. It's also something I don't intend to learn as it's already confusing enough.

I already have a bit of SEO knowledge, that's what I've been focusing my self-educating on. I'm basically looking for the simple solution though, without doing the leg-work of creating the sites myself. I'm planning on devoting my time towards creating the content, bum marketing, and working on extending my knowledge with SEO and putting that to work with the site(s).

The thing is, I'm not interested in doing all the work myself. I'm just looking to get the physical site up and get to work on the content. Besides actually getting the hard copy of the site created/hosted, the only thing I'll need to figure out is how to add content (w/ SEO in mind) but that's nothing to focus on now - one step at a time.

Does anyone on DP create their Clickbank sites with templates, or hire someone here to design them?

    Thanks
