Yesterday, i set it up, and it is very very useful. It saves me the 5 mile journey to town to get the nearest bank. Do you use online banking? It is very useful and i recommend it to anyone. Rob
I live in the yorkshire countryside, and its a 6 mile journey to the bank for me, although there is a village shop which says that they accept cards, but when i put my halifax card in it, it rejected it but still charged me to the £1.50 service charge. Buses into town cost like £3 (thats $6) which is pretty bad for checking your bank balance. So I set up online banking and ive never looked back, so much easier.
We don't even have a bus here !! I got myself a high-quality moped (Aprilia Rally 50 if you wana research it..) and i am using that instead. I choose my own route to the bank too, there are so many different ones... Rob
I didn't realize webmasters use online banking until today. I thought it was just for business's and lazy OAP's. Rob
No, i class PayPal as a funds site. It is technically not a bank account, so they can charge whatever fees they want, they can steal your money without even notifying you, whereas your bank cannot do this, as they have to stick to banking rules. Rob
I agree,u cant consider paypal, egold or similar sites as online banking. They r just used for online transactions.
Come on bank accounts can steal your money, they do it as soon as you put it in your bank account, they put it on stocks and crap trying to make more money. You know now my bank is saying to me that i can no longer take money out over the counter at my local bank, i have to use the ATM, ridiculous.
What about paypal then, chargeback, limiting account ,asking bills and proofs, all crap. I dont think any local back do this,
I also use online banking. It helps me to check my balance, statements etc. Also helps in ordering check books, pay orders, balance transfer etc.
