Yes offline marketing is just as important as online marketing. Advertising in related media such as magazines and newspapers.
I do for one of them, but it really depends on your niche if you ask me. For some niches and focuses it is highly worthwhile, whereas for others it is near pointless and definitely not a good use of money.
I have just started to run some press advertising in my local area as I plan on starting some small meetings in my area to promote part of my business. Unfourtunatly it is to soon to say what the results are, although the rates that I have paid seem quite high compared to advertizing online. I have always used flyers and had my car sign written and this is low cost, but does work but slowly.
I have never tried any offline marketing strategies because I am not familiar with it. In my eyes, online marketing strategies are enough to help you gain as many as potantial consumers. What's more, you can get successful at lower costs.
