    Hi

Just wondering if anyone sets out to use any NLP in their salesletters?

Watching the latest sales video's I can see some marketers using it very effectively, but not sure if works as well in written format?

Please let me know your opinion.

Before trying to use NLP or other so called pseudosciences, one should first have an excellent sales letter that follows time tested and proven principles and see how it performs by itself. That would be enough in most cases, I would assume.

    On a side note ...............

According to Wikipedia, NLP is defined as
The postscript to the skeptic's dictionary entry on NLP never fails to amuse me.

Oh, then, you must also have very few visitors going to your site, like Kern.

I believe NLP has no place in copy. In person NLP is live and hard to catch...on copy it is static and invites a whole lot of scruitiny. Even the slightest hint of any funny look stuff could hurt your rep.

For those that want to use NLP in their salesletters, great. I don't. No big reason why, just personal preference.

I'll stick to the old school tactics that have been proven to work through out the years. I have my own way of writing. Combining AIDA and PAS. I've been a student of Halbert and have never looked back.
