I heard myspace can be dangerous for your career. Some companies do a search on future applicants. If they have a myspace they often are not hired.
I'm MySpace 100% - I've tried for months to use facebook - and I just don't like it. It's too sterile or something - and whoever said the thing about facebook has more games and apps is correct - they target kids more than MySpace does - IMHO Sure there is a lot of advertising and spam being done on MySpace - but I've made some really good business contacts in MySpace groups, and since my target audience are MySpace users - I use MySpace everyday for several hours - and it's still working just fine. I have several *real* friends that i've made from all across the globe from MySpace - and I'm not the type of guy to jump on the bandwagon - just because some douche wrote in a blog that "MySpace is for kids" and "MySpace is all Spam" MySpace is not dead - it's like a zombie - you can try to kill it with facebook, twitter, or whatever - and it just keeps coming back...... I'm glad that you people are giving up on it so soon - PLEASE LEAVE - I'll take all the customers that you think are "Just Kids" lol You will find that most people that say "MySpace is for kids" just don't understand how to properly use it. There are people that are 68+ years old that use MySpace, bands, musicians, poets, artists, movie directors, professional athletes, whatever you can think of - and they are all looking to promote themselves, their art or whatever - and FaceCrap isn't working for many of them. Based on Alexa rankings (who cares) - it would appear that Facebook has gained the lead by several positions, but at #11 - I wouldn't dare to call myspace "Dead" LOL - where does your website rank??? If your site ranks higher than MySpace - then you have the right to call it dead. DigitalPoint is (today) ranked #286 on Alexa - and I would hardly call this place a "deadzone" lol
