I wonder if you turned on "meta keywords per site" feature on on your phpld directories or not. Do you think it is useful?

I turned off meta in all my directories. I've seen pages go supplemental even after defining unique descriptions and keywords for categories and links!

I guess there can be such a risk.. (e.g. too many meta keywords may look spammy)

I also dont want to spend time to find meta kewords. Developing content for the directory is time/money consuming enough. But i wanted ask this since i thought if there is a big benefit, i should use it.

I use both KEYWORDS and DESCRIPTION but not those implemented in PhPLD.
I take keywords and description automatically from link title and description. Think this much better for indexing and traffic. (I see it in my stats).

no i dont use meta tags in my directory because they ruin first of all spam it ... and second its a hassle to have those ... and than every page looks different (which should be a good thing) but in this case when its too many of them they are not good.
