The forums I have are in a some speciliazed health/medical disciplines - so a thread on a particular topic related to that, can return good traffic for long tail realte to the medical topic. Even better if there are multiple threads on that topic --- use linkvana to build links to them all (and more links to the better of the threads) .... have you seen how Google can return forums in the SERP's? ----- I get 4 indeneted listings! I also have site that are not forums that I also use it for.
I can't really recall ..... but adsense went up from a few hundred $ a month to a few thousand $ a months over 4-5 month period. I pretty much noticed an increase in traffic for some long tail words that do not have a lot of competition within weeks. Some keywords that got more traffic took 9-12 months to get to page one and get decent traffic --- for these it was just a matter of grinding away --- and I up against the giants of eMedicne and Wikipedia - so used to Linkvana to get anchor text for all sorts of combinations of the possible long tail phrases (but teh phrase also included the main keyword) As a disclaimer, I will quote what I said earlier:
Again, thanks for your time -- I just added to your reputation (people in this forum should do it more often!). Was the traffic due to increased rankings, or did it mostly come through the links posted? (I think this will be the last question.)
It was 100% SE ranking ... I not really dug deep lately, but do not think I have ever had any traffic from a Linkvana post
I don't. BUT, Linkvana was all I was working and I was not doing any "ordinary SEO efforts" --- already done them and they weren't working.
Careful, they may take time to show effect and the shear fact that may have added content to your site may have been favorable to your ranking as well. The site that generates the most adsense income for me is also the one that has the most content added to it.
Could you explain in more detail how linkvana works. Can one submit as many urls as one wants, too, for example?
