Do you use Linkvana for getting links. If so, what have your results been? It's rather expensive, but looks good.
its the first time i've heard of this linkvana. i found their site and saw that $147/month is too expensive
Yes. Have been a member for over a year. Works awesome, but you have to be in for the long haul and be very strategic in how you use it.
Why is that a problem? ... and besides, its actually PR3, so not sure where you got the zero from. Then do yo care to explain why my sites rank so well as a result of using linkvana? ... but then again, maybe my competitors will take your advice!
These peons always do that... telling ppl that such site or such site is PR0 without telling where they get those numbers from. Linkvana sounds so expensive... maybe because I'm just cheap.
"Expensive" is relative. How much money do you make for your site? How much more can you make if you can move higher up the rankings?
So then PLEASE explain why my sites rank so well? I getting a lot of benefit from it, so how did you determine that you get no benefit from it? Can you share the results of your testing with us? Do you even know what Linkvana is? How do you even know google can detect it. You can't even get the PR for the site right --- you still have not explained where you got the PR0 from when its actualy PR3 !!!
What nonsense! That is NOT their default page! You really making a fool of yourself here The home/default page is http://www.linkvana.com and its PR3 !! I can probably find a PR0 page on any site ... but I not stupid enough to call it a PR0 site!! Please answer my other questions.
I think anyone know about SEO should agree that checking main website for pagerank is www.linkvana.com NOT www.linkvana.com/welcomevideo.html. So.. linkvana.com can be checked at checkpageranking.com and it has pagerank of 3.
Actually, the welcomevideo.html IS its' default page as it has no index.html or default.html AND linkvana.com redirects to welcomevideo.html making it the default page (http://www.linkvana.com/ isn't a page address it is merely the top level URL). Though it is as you said a PR3 site, despite its' default page being pr0. I am not inclined to trust it despite you having had good results from it as it's URL which is pr3 redirects directly to another page (301 redirect, which google gives credit to equally as much to that of the original link target) yet it still has no PR? Odd. Have you thought that your site may have been so successful because it is a good site, rather than linkvana being a good service? Also it has disgusting looking splash page design, therefore the designer is cheap and cannot design his/her own sites which indicates to me that they know nothing about SEO so wouldn't trust my site in their hands especially for that much money.
It's being redirected too for me which goes to welcomevideo.html and using my SEOBook toolbar it's n/a. But looking at it's Alexa Rank, I think a lots of guys are using this system. May be it's working or may be not. I don't know about it's tactics clearly so, I won't be on any side.
Looks good, after content writing would come out to about $2.50 a article post at 450 posts a month, which is not bad at all. I just wonder if the posts are placed on like content sites. I will keep this in mind if manual post costs get out of hand.
http://www.linkvana.com/index.php (and has PR of 3) It doesn't redirect. #1 Server Response: http://www.linkvana.com HTTP Status Code: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Wed, 21 Apr 2010 02:51:48 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.41 (Unix) PHP/4.4.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.7a X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.8 Set-Cookie: PHPSESSID=107c129a1de808c345742b00b03656b4; path=/ Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Pragma: no-cache Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html Are you guys SEOs? Yawn.
I'd like to hear more about your experience, if you don't mind. How many keywords and how competitive? What are the rankings? How quickly did you get them, with how many links? Why are you sure it's due to Linkvana? Without this kind of information your claim is too vague. Your site can be ranking well for some reason. Apparently some people have been disappointed with the service: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/73745-linkvana-experiences.html I am not challenging your view or your experience, just want to know more. Thanks!
I have been using it for over year. I would not be using it if it wasn't working for me. I had a lot of page 2-5 listings for many keywords on many sites. Most are now on page one. I have several forums and I use linkvana to deep link to threads of value i want in the search engines - almost all threads are now all at least PR1 (most threads here at DP are PR0) and rank really well for the untargeted long tail keywords. ... traffic and adsense earning have sky rocketed as a result. (I beating out wikipedia for a lot of keywords now) The use of linkvana for deep linking means I get multiple indented (and prominent) SERPS I think most people unhappy with it, did not spend long enough in it - this is a long term business. As I have numerous sites, I build 2-5 links each day to each site with linkvana (this include a number of blog that I post in that I link to the main site <-- linkvana links go to indivudual posts as well) Also keep in mind when using Linkvana or any SEO strategy, if your competitors are actively link building as well .... of course its not going to work. You have to be strategic. I beat my compeitors not necessarily in terms of ranking for the main keyword, but the rankings and traffic from the long tail due to deeplinking with linkvana ...
Thanks for taking the time to respond. Deep linking sounds like a sound approach with this kind of technology. May I ask why you want forum threads to rank? (Just curious.)
