Hi everyone, this post is a little promotional but I'd also like to pose a question to all you link builders - do you use link wheels in your strategy? Link wheels are essentially microsites or articles which serve as "properties" which you promote and then funnel pagerank back to your main website. I have a small ebook on sale at fiverr.com: http://www.fiverr.com/users/matt5409/gigs/show-you-a-link-wheel-strategy-that-works My question is - do you use link wheels? have you had success with them? what are your favourite properties (hubpages, articles, blogs)? Personally I started using link wheels last summer and have found it to be one of the best (free) ways to build authority. Of course the ONLY downside is that it can take quite a lot of time to set up, especially the more elaborate wheel.
you're doing it but you don't know whether it is working? or you're doing it but not sure if you're doing it right?
I think this takes up too much of our time. We can get quality backlinks via forums without promoting a hub, an article or a side blog.
yea but why simply get links from multiple low quality sources? I have found it much more beneficial to build a stronger source and then use that for links
I use them but in a special way, not closed either. I do find that they work quite well for low competitive keywords. However, it is only one part of my backlink strategy.
well it takes lots of time, so i prefer just to submit articles to directoriesi think it have the same effect
You shouldnt just limit yourself to just one strategy, ive found link wheels to be very effective and far more value from a good linkwheel than some low value forum links, but saying that why not explore all avenues to build a diverse and strong link structure.
Too much time needed. Anyway if you can create wheels with quality content, it is worthy and the links from wheels to our main website will be relevant.
the amount of people that have posted in this thread purely to boost their post count/get backlinks....... you could have been using this time to create a linkwheel
