I first used IE but then i switched to Firefox. I think that Firefox is faster and it allows you to view more web page space. You can see all the tabs that you are viewing.
It comes by default with vista, but I do not use it. it's there to check if my sites render fine, and i have another PC with IE6 just to do the same job. Sadly half of my web traffic still use that buggy IE6. I really cant get used at it, but safari looks nice. (at least my sites do )
I had to downgrade Vista at first, and then I had to downgrade IE 7 due to its excessive annoyances. I got back to IE 6.1 with my old Web Surface tabbed-web browser, an IE shell developed by an Austrian friend back in 1999 which enables over Internet Explorer most of those features that years later Firefox "rediscovered"... probably taken this software as a model but using Mozilla engine.
I Normally use IE for DP and Firefox for things to do with my web hosting company -Chris -Ftnhosting.net EDIT: 999th Post
