YEs I too use pirated softwares and i am proud to use pirated softwares!! its amazing, i mean if you get same thing free why pay??? i will never buy until i have to..
That's why I do it. I don't have an excuse, I can afford the programs but I pirate them anyways. Then again, how many people do you know that have bought every single music file they have on their computer? Not too many.
Majority of software on my PC are pirated, though I purcahse cheap software but I really don't want to spend (Waste) money on OS. And who spends money on music I think you really love tshirts. I can send you mine if you wish I agree with you on this. That doesn't hurt big companies at all. I tried that and it didn't work. In fact Right now Microsoft's Notice (You May be the victim of software piracy) is making fun of me in my system tray.
ha..ha I use pirated software. reason was, free! also no money to buy and to maintain license. but most of the times free software (or cracker file) contain Virus, Trojan, spyware etc...beware
Well I use mixture of softwares because I use legal software on my laptop but most of my desktop have pirated software which I can get in 50 Rs only.
Anything I make money from I'll buy, with the exception of Windows itself, FYI you can use MS update without genuine windows......
Well, I guess it's kinda hard to ignore free stuff when it's so easily available thanks to the likes of mininova. I think only corporations will buy cause the legal implications are there. As a home user, i believe that you are safe. It's like singling out needles in a haystack
I actually just realised I have a cd-key for windows, so I guess I use a pirated version on principal ...... that principal being bill gates got nuff cash already......
I do and I'm not ashamed. I can justify myself through various philosophical schools of ethics (utility, anyone?). Law shouldn't be taken at face-value.
I know places that use illegal software and they are like computer repairers and stuff who have their own shops. Its morally and ethically wrong but i don't think they can stop it.
