Do You Use IE or Firefox? And Why?

I don't know about you, but I've never really liked Firefox. However, I DO love the firefox plugins that I have found.

Generally, I use Maxthon as a browser (because it is plain/simple and has narrow 1" wide tabs by default) - and I use Firefox for certain tasks where there is an add on that does something I can't do by hand.

Do you use IE? Or Firefox?
    Why?

    Thanks for reading!

I use them all. IE, Firefox, Safari (for Windows), Opera, and even Lynx occasionally.

I hate IE, it just doesnt seem to run on my computer..and its also extremely slow and buggy.
I switch between Opera/Firefox/Chrome since all three of them run smoothly and also load pages faster than IE for me :)

Why? That doesn't make sense. Pick one and stick with it but don't use IE except when you run into some stupid site that only codes for IE.

:) Good plan ... but these are fresh opinions. Things change over relatively short timespans.

I've just got fed up with IE and Firefox I guess and wanted to get "today's viewpoint" from the good people here, so I might be motivated to try another browser.

It makes perfect sense. I check my sites in everything I can.

Don't tell me you only code for the browser you use?

I use Firefox 99% of the time because it's fast and much more secure than IE. The only time I use IE is to check pages I've created to make sure they're compatible.

IE for some sites only (particularly vodafone payment, as this site does not work in any other browser, do not know why?).
Chrome, safari and FF for windows and FF for Linux.

I use Mozilla Firefox for about a year and I am happy using it. It is fast and has so many ad-dons which are very useful!
