Do you use free file hosting for your images or just use your hosting account?

    Do you prefer to use free file hosting like photobucket etc or just upload all the images of your blog on your own hosting account? Can it make your site slower to load if you upload or all your files and images to your own hosting account?

    I upload all my stuff to my hosting account. Obviously I optimize the images and I find JPG's load quicker than PNG's for instance so this helps with loading times. I'm probably a control freak as I like to know when things go wrong and it's easier when I've got all my stuff in my own hosting account.

    Host the images myself. Then you are not relying on a third party :)

    Definitely on my hosting account, I can not trust a third party image host.

    I host everything on my own hosting account. In terms of loading speed, I have not tested
