Do you use eyeglasses for protection?

I know this is very important to all that using computer especially if your job are using computer all day. I just bought my first eyeglasses with UV Protection for the sake of my eye. I usally use my computer 20 hours a day.

How about you are you using eye protection?

 

I blew out a candle a little too hard once and splattered hot wax all over my eyeglasses. I shudder to think of what would have happened if I wasn't wearing glasses. Now, I know better.

 

I would love to wear eyeglasses with a anti-glare film on it. They help me in protecting my eyes from the harmful radiation. I'm using them since five years and suggest others to wear too.

There is no UV radiance from LCD screens....

 

No I don't wear eyeglasses for protection. I work construction and I still don't wear eyeglasses for protection very often. There are few times in my opinion where you actually need them.

 

I got eyeglasses for using them while on PC but I use them rarely as there is no problem in my eyesight.

 

i have goggles which is used by me to view high resolution films or playing games on PC

 

I wish there are eyeglasses that will help me screen out all the stupid DP noobs posting stupid threads

 

I wear Sunglasses ... from were i was 3 years old ...

 

I wear eyeglasses with protection on the lenses too...

 

No glasses for protection..........but I wear sunglasses to protect against the sun glare

 

I use UV protected glasses/sun glasses when I'm outside. I may want to think about using them when using the computer too.

i wear eyeglasses for reducing radiation from my computer ..

 

I guess I will go spend the next 20 minutes researching radiation given off by monitors. Something new to worry about.

I wear glasses, but they don't have any protection from radiation. So if I wear special glasses, that will protect my head from the radiation, or will it just protect my eyes leaving my brain exposed? Maybe I should buy a radiation-blocking helmet instead.

 

simply you don't need to go for uv glasses for lcd as well as crt.
just reduce the brightness and contras , it should be adjusted in the way as if you read from the book or a paper.

i use like this for more than 10 years and my eyes are good still

 

I am using eye galasses when i work on computer...This help me to see clearly on the monitor. I think every should use eye galasses.
