Do you use Channels?

I'm only using URL Channels. Thats probably because I don't have very many sites. But I plan to use regular channels soon to determine from which ad position the most clicks come from.

 

Sure, I do... One of the most important informations come from channels.

 

Custom channels are good not just for learning about ad placement, but also to see which site sections (or even pages) are doing best - if you see a particular page or section is doing well (high traffic and high paying ads), you can add a whole section about closely related subjects, or make a whole site about it.

 

if i tested all places on my page with channels and found that i have only 2 places working good and others is not,so what is better for increasing earning : removing ads from these places and keep only the places that works good or keep them to earn even alittle ?

yes, i use channels to test colors, positions and sizes of adsense blocks.
You can boost adsense performance by doing this.

I use channels for urls and ad units, I think that its very important to improve your earnings, with channels you can know the CTR of each ad unit and try to improve it, the same with the cpm, you can have an specific page in a site with a very low cpm and improve the earnings changing the Ad company in these page...

I think that to use channels is just essential if you will use Adsense.

 

i have many sites and i don't use channels !
because im sure that my ad placement and size are the best what i can do , so i don't need channels .
and also some times channels don't report well = channel problem .

in somany case studies reveal, track your earnings using channels.

If your sites has little traffic is not very important, but with thousand of visitors per day it's a crucial measure.
That way you'll detect which sites you need to promote and which no.

 

Yes do it, they are the best way to know what are your hihgest paying websites, so you know where you have to work more for traffic.

Try them, you will not regret.

 

Of course I do, how else would I know where y sites needs improvement. use channels!
