Do you use any automated / semi-automated directory submission software?

    Do you have any recommendations for directory submission software or do you do it all manual? or even pay for directory submission?

    Please let me know what you use, i am looking for ideas as my portfolio of sites are growing and i am looking for ways to get backlinks.

    I used to use an automated directory submitter until I realised that the high PR directories had CAPTCHA protection and the ones which didn't did not increase traffic or affect PR.

    it is not worth trying automated directory submission, and I realy dont recommend .

    I would tell you that its good if you go for manual directory submission. Or semi automated one is fine too.

    Noone has suggested the best semi-automated tool out there. http://www.digixmas.com <== Brilliant submission software, but after you need to get your own directory list after you've used the given one.

    I still prefer tu use manual method. Although using that tool can lessen your task but it's not also advisable.

    The best software ever designed for this is right between your ears!

    Almost all directories with linkjuice will:
    1. Have CAPTCHA protection and won't accept your software's attempt to submit to begin with.
    2. Have different required fields that some pieces of software don't account for.
    3. Cost Money!

    There are thousands of "free submission" directories that:
    1. Have no PageRank (i.e. no linkjuice)
    2. Never do add the link you submit for free, but do have an expedited pay option( isn't that convenient!)
    3. Are merely pathetic attempts at building a PR2 or 3 site so they can turnaround and sell it for a few hundred bucks.

    Don't waste your time or money. Spend the time and money at trusted directory sites. If getting links was as easy as popping a CD into your hard drive, don't you think everybody would have a link everywhere? I know I would.

    i've already submit to thousand directories, but until now i've not effect yet to my site, especially for my web traffic

    any explanation about it?
