    If you did get a million views (bit on promotion, sending links to friends):

    A viral video on that gained 1 million views would earn you this:

    First 10,000 views @ $0.10 CPM = $1
    10,000 to 100,000 @ $0.25 CPM = $22.5
    100,000 views to 1million @ $1 CPM = $900

    Total for 1million views = $900 + $22.5 + $1 = $923.50.

    Would you be interested? nearly $1k, instead of $0
