Just curious, how many of you guys Twitter?

Have you found it useful in marketing?

I love the concept of Twitter, it has given me a lot
of new contacts and generated great traffic.

I dot try twitter although i install twitter plugin in my blog

No, I don't have the time for twitter, a very simple website idea, the owner's now a millionaire, the internet really is an amazing place.

 

I have a twitter and actively post my daily activities such as updated my blog..Twitter is like my daily dairy now..

Doesn't bring in a lot of traffic, but helps to keep my followers updated on new content - therefore very targeted

I have been using it for about a month on checking our stats we have found only a small amount of traffic increase from twitter and i will reduce the time spent on it as a result.

 

Just started using it. I will see how it affects my traffic.
Firstly, i have to find an idea how to make people follow me in a very specific niche

 

well I'm using twitter http://twitter.com/SenseiDesign but not as a marketing tool because I had nothing to really marked besides my portfolio but this will change soon

 

Tried... felt it's horrible waste of time... stopped.

Twitter is great for those people who change their "status" a zillion times, whether on Facebook, Instant Messanger or whatever. These people could get addicted to Twitter.

If you are using it purely for a marketing pitch I think you would be better off spending your time elsewhere.

I like the idea of it, but sometimes I feel it's like a popularity contest like myspace used to be. People simply follow anyone in hopes that they'll follow them right back.

I think that in order to say whether or not twitter works for marketers, it all depends on the type of business you're running.
