no... 24*7 on and online... I am just lazy to switch it on and boot again.... Thats just me.. 'I don't recommend it to others huh..
To save electricity bills and environment, I always turn off my computer . ( PC hardwares are so cheap nowadays. lol )
I have run my computer non stop for more than 24+ hours, even more than 48+ hours, but on an usual day i turn it off at night.
I turn both my laptop and desktop off every night unless I'm downloading something or doing a scan... they are on all day and deserve their rest.
usually never, get a good heatsinked rig and some quiet fans and you wont even know its on. plus you never have to worry about powering it back up. it costs less then 10$ year to power a desktop 24/7.
I generally have my hard disks and monitors set to turn off when not in use, as every spin or hour is one lost. They both have limited time before they finally die out - so saving certain resources is best.
I turn it off when I am done for the day. The noise of the computer would frustrate me when trying to sleep!
oh dont really remember when it was last shutdown. coz i have bought this expensive cooling pad, i dont heats anymore.
