    Ya I do shut down my pc Sometimes but mostly it is on 24/7 :p

    In my university (hostel) it runs 24/7, but at home I only turn it on when I am using it.

    My server is up all the time 24/7. My workstation computers are on when im using them otherwise they are off. Saves electricity= saves $

    Takes more juice to reload it. IF you dont 'use it everyday ya but man I'm glued to it. Heck I wakeup sometimes and check my PM's then go back to bed... (Did I just admit that!!?!)

    LT gets turned off every night between 11:37pm and 12:22am.

    DT, OTOH is only shut off a couple of times a week...usually runs Av and all that jazz @ night

    I always turn it off at night. I thought it was better that way becuase, like login mentioned, it will run better once it is newly started. Is this not true?
