Do you "tip" with adsense?

I have seen threads where many state that they often "tip" a site providing something useful by clicking on ads. Do you or have you ever?

Wow, you make a third party pay for a click and you have no intention of actually using their site.

Go join AdWords right now and tell me your keywords. I WILL TIP A LOT OF SITES.

    Idiot.

I only ever click an ad if it interests me. It doesn't matter if there is anything useful on the site or not.

Nope, I'm with Icheb. It's wrong to do that, because it's not your money you're giving away.

I don't click on adsense ads, it's an habit I've developed over time since using adsense on my own site, and I don't use adblocker add-on, so I'm simply good at identifying adsense ads and not clicking on them. So I of course don't "tip with adsense".

I have to admit that I've been tricked a few times by some clever implementations and a lack of attention.

I'm not saying it's good practice. As an Adwords user it would anger me. I'm just posing a question because it seems common to do so by so many.

And Icheb, read the post before you get so MAD...idiot. ;)

Well, part of the answer. I wanted to see how common it is with DP members...in one thread.

I use adblock... This also stops me from clicking on my ads by accident.

Hey, I'm like that too! Since i started using Adsense, it's just automatic that I tend to not click on any adsense ads on any site anymore. Not that something that I do on purpose, but like u said, it's just developed as a habit.

BTW, if you found a site very useful, why not give that site donations; the money out of your own pocket?

I do, but it's only in very rare cases - and I only click on ads that I like. So I'm on a site I want to support, and I see an ad that interests me I click it (as opposed to just copying the url down that it lists right under it). There are some sites that are just so crappy or created just for money, and I see an ad that looks interesting but I don't want to support the site so I just take the url and visit it that way.
