Even though I make profit from pay per click advertising, it seems like it isn't as effective as paying for static directory links and manual advertising through press releases and forums. What do you think?
Its not as easy as it used to be 3 years ago. You need to plan effectively and work tirelessly to gain the rich rewards. As they say, the higher the risk, the potential higher rewards.
Hands down nothing is better than natural search engine hits but PPC is still a very much effective way of advertising and i know for my corner of the market, the ROI isn't always the best but usually pans out. I figure if you can make your money back within 5-6 mo's its an opportunity, anything sooner of course is best.
