Hi guys, How many have you tried meditation? I was recently meditating and reach alternative consciousness and I enjoyed those. But since the time I have been normal I am having a gut feeling that the world we see is not the whole picture.. it isnt completely real? How many of you guys have ever felt that?
I read a study a couple of days ago that says meditation helps in slowing down aging so it does help. As for the world not being real, who knows, there's a chance that the whole universe is a hologram (another theory).
Well, humans only see in three dimensions: x, y, and z. If you believe that the mathematical models that quantum physicists use to analyze physical phenomena are accurate, they include many additional dimensions. If they are correct, a human could not see the whole picture.
Our brains process so much more information than we can ever be aware of. The world as we see it is just as we see it. Even dogs and cats see things we don't.
what do u mean "alternative consciousness" and how much time would it take to reach at that point for a normal person
For me it was 6 month of mindfull meditation. Or one can go to a few session of free Vipassana meditation. It doesnt take much.
The perceptions and emotions that constitute a person's worldview are SO dfferent in every single human being on Earth, that sometimes I am scared that I live in a completely different reality from all the people. I wonder if everyone feels the same.
