Do you use it? Do you think Chrome OS will kill it?

All open source operating systems have great future. Imagine a time when pirated versions of Windows won't be available. I will never pay for a OS ever. Why pay when it is available for free??

I use Ubuntu as my primary OS, but I have Google Chrome OS too. :D

I think it's a wonderful idea from Google to create it's own OS, and have nothing on it, except the browser of course. :) That numbers down the processes and the PC works faster. =)

By my personal opinion I think that Ubuntu is the No.1 OS, these days. Windows is the most popular one, with most users, but it has poor security system, and a lot of screw-ups. Ubuntu has a very bright future, development will continue, and I really like that it's free! ;)

    So,

    1.
    -Yes.

    2.
    -Yes.

    3.
    -Not in th near future.

    Go Ubuntu, go!

As my experience, Ubuntu is very simple with Virus Free Environment. Also software are free. Some times, i can't run some important software of windows. Will rock in future, i think so. :)

I don't see why not, it just needs to beef up a bit to compete with Windows & Apple. But as its free it will always ahve some users!

    Well, not exactly. :D
Because it has very different security system than Windows, it doesn't work that way. :)
First of all a virus that works on Ubuntu is very hard to create, maybe impossible. Then ( lets suppose that someone creates one ) in order to spread it he has to know the usernames and passwords of every single one of the infected ones. :)

    That's a little hard, don't you think? ;)
