Sadly that isn't the case with both Republicans and Democrats. A good example is Egypt, they had democracy, now they had dictatorship which is ruining the country but to the US that dictatorship is better than a democracy which they do not like. Our interests have always trumped our values when it comes to dealing with dictators.
It's certainly interesting to watch And educational - I'd never realised that Americans call the "cooking time" in a recipe "gestation", I'd caught up on biscuits being scones and cilantro being coriander so I'm glad Trump explained gestation.
Gestation in a recipe? I have never heard nor read that term used for cooking time. Must be some localized usage that I have never heard about.
LOL, for ANYONE that does significant public speaking there are always funny, humorous and strange quotations captured on tape. Even the Kenyan, who could not hold a conversation with anyone without a teleprompter made a ton of funny and strange statements. It is the lamestream media and their co-conspirators that try to portray this as something new and different. It has been going on since speeches have been recorded (a century, perhaps.) One thing for sure: Trump's economy is going to make for a very nice Thanksgiving for working Americans, no matter how the turkeys are prepared.
Typical New Yorker. Strange vocabulary often with an accent that cannot be understood outside of New York City. Like an Enzedder trying to understand the Cockney accent of London.
There must be something wrong with my hearing because I don't hear where he said that was a part of his mom's recipe. . .. Maybe another reason to impeach him right?! Anyway, he misspoke - big deal. . The guy can speak in front of thousands of people for hours with no teleprompter, unlike Obama who couldn't go 2 mins.
