Do you think this would work? (youtube marketing idea)

I'm a web developer, I'm 20, I'm a girl and I'm not bad looking. I've made "makeup tutorial" youtube videos before and got comments, views but nothing too major since I only made a grand total of 5 videos.

Now, I have recently developed a very general website which has alot of new ideas in it. (see sig) This makes it hard to explain to all the users how it works and stuff.

So, my idea is to make a vlog a day. Try to have quality content basically abotu the site, new features, what you can do with it. There are virtually unlimited things you can do with the site because its very flexible and similar to IRC.

Do you think "a vlog a day makes users come and stay"?

 

It can be useful.As to the problem whether they will come and stay,it's still determined by the content of your video.
If they are not interested or think it's not helpful or attractive,they will never come back again.As you know,too many
videos on yutobe and it means that they will have too many choices.

 

i think it will work but you must make sure you video attractive enough..

Ok, here is the thing about youtube and life in general - videos of pretty women get more views. Go look up the youtube channel of vlogolution - its a husband and wife team. She makes sexy videos, he makes political videos.

If you can deal with comments from the typical male, then show a little flesh, maybe wear a shirt that is a little low cut.

All else fails, buy some youtube promotion. That way your video will be put on the homepage. That alone will help kick start your views and subscribers.

 

Make sure the link to your website is the first thing in your info box, and post your video to a few other video sites to up the chances you are found. If you got it.. flaunt it, just don't give it away

 

not bad idea, but i think everything depends on videos, you have to made very interesting videos

I think it is a good idea. If you make interesting enough videos you will keep people coming back and hopefully if they are impressed they will tell others to check out your site. Good luck.

 

I think you may have just started the next socialbookmarking site of the year// love the idea video or not this could work.
