Well apart from the issue of you blatantly spamming your own product....
    I think it's a really stupid idea.
Business cards are basically an advert, a bit of promotion anyway. Who the hell wants to give out their business card, and promote someone else's business?

It could work, something new but If I personally want my business cards I would hate adds of some1 else on my cards

I agree with magda. It is not a good idea. Like they said, you use business cards to promote yourself why would you want a potentially unrelated ad on the back of your card? It would make you look cheap and unprofessional.
If you are cheap, you might as well get free business cards from Vista Print that only have their company company logo on the back because they printed it, not because they bought the spot.

My programmer has a roommate who is a computer tech., so I guess it could work in some cases.

Maybe you are missing the point.

I understand that some (most?) professionals don't want ads on the back of their cards.

I am asking if you think that putting YOUR AD on the back of OTHER PEOPLE'S business cards is a good idea.

I would say no but on a second thought it might actually works for some niches.

Again, I am not saying that most people will want ads on the back of the business cards.

I am saying that ADVERTISERS will want to put ads on other people's business cards.

no way.I won't love to have that in my cards anyway.

But will surely keep my own website URL in the card.

It might be good if you ran multiple businesses and put your own ads on the cards. But me personally, I would not want someone else's ad on my business card.

It could work, I think you should go ahead and try it. You might start a new advertising trend here.

Yeah I agree. It would also look rather poor.

I would do it. Of course.

One of the things I do is advertising, so I would find someone who has a business card, on, say, website design. We both compliment one another in that regard, so yes, it can work at times.
