I have checked the said site ( trksinemalar.com), through SEOQUAKE it is in giving the same info as you have said. I am amazed, how can it happen ...........
thank you bparashar. it seems like the owner redirected it using 301 permanent server redirection to a real pr8 website for some time, like a month or more. and with some entries in google sites like checkpagerank.net think about it as a real page rank, but in fact it isnt. example: softpedia.com have pr7, and have over 3,5 billion pages indexed and is 7 years old.
Link popularity for www.trksinemalar.com Site Title: Online (HD) Yüksek Kalitede Film & Dizi İzle Google - 51 Yahoo! - 283 AllTheWeb - 544 Total - 878 DMOZ.org listed? - not listed. Google Directory listed? - not listed Yahoo! Directory listed? - not listed Domain age? - 3 months 7 days (According to Whois created on 08.01.2010). shows up as genuine pr but its dubious
if you have some pages indexed using a wordpress and wait for 2 months, and then redirect the website to a real pr website usgin 301 redir, you can make this happen. maybe many ppl are selling here pr4-5 domains for a couple of dollars and other ppl are buying this fake domains. after a while, like a couplle of weeks after you stopped redirecting the domain google will give you again pr0 or pr1.
Domain is mine, and is 100% real. It has PR 10 backlinks from edu site. If it was by 301 redirect it should be info:domain.com show other domain. Thanks
That's why PR domain names (without a website history) is a real gamble... Just can't understand why people snobs low PR DN's & are willing to pay the maximum price for fake(temporary) backlinks... It's really the dumbess thing to do... If you really want PR: develop your own domain names.
