    Yeah it is real, saw a bunch of images of it and a news story...so pretty sure it must be real.

    Crocodiles can go to 30 ft. The nile and salt water crocs are big ones.

    can someone post the URL for the story?

    the photo looks manipulated to me...

    -the rope isn't hanging straight down
    -the highlights and shadows on the croc looks off
    -the tail curves upward, defying gravity
    -the guy's shadow falls under the tail but not ON it

    I saw it somewhere on the net and I must say that crocodile is real.. I was watching Discovery and NGC before and lots of animals were shown in those tv show.. anacondas, pythons and an animal alike..
