My mother doesnt let me make a birthday party with alcohol.Doesnt let me take on a flat for the occasion ,and the party cant be all-night-long.Do you think this is normal, i turn 17 in April. It is not about the money. She has plenty of money but thinks in a communist way.My father is same story. He works abroad but still doesnt let me such things.

Normal? well it doesn't really matter if It's normal.

If you want to have alcohol just have the party somewhere else and get friends to buy it.. or pay a homeless guy.

I hope she would permit you to indulge in alcohol and a little bit of romance (;)) when you reach 18, at which age you decide what is right and wrong. Let us all pray that you age too quickly to take up the midnight party:)
