    Ummmmm. NO.

This is called "calling undue attention" to the ad. From what I've read, they ban any publisher in a heartbeat for a half naked anything. I'm pretty sure you could not even blend in your ad in the content with that thong graphic there. (gee, that butt is in my face!)

Google is sensitive to porn/adult/mature pics. I would not risk it.--- Just in case you get any young guys in here drooling saying the pics are fine- Just mail google and ask upfront, better safe than sorry.

It's all about transparent backgrounds!...Yes that would tenfold your CTR -- I wouldn't recommend it, but great application of adsense! Next thing you know Google will have a massive stake and interest in the Porn industry.

OK- I checked your site out and i think it is totally scary your site is about selling a product related to showing relevant pictures next to adsense.

You would do the public a favor by reading the TOS and not risking any innocent victim (that buys your product) account with risky practices when they use your product.

As the seller of a product, it is your responsibility to know this info upfront, Before you sell it, as the people coming to you will not have the knowedge or expertise to know better.

I think it's cool that you asked the forum, but I do not get the feeling you really understand the tos, and if you are selling a product that could effect someone's adsense account without knowing the rules, that is just, plain wrong.

Right on, corinaw. Two giant asscheeks would definitely qualify as "undue attention". :D

just a thought, google encourages publishers to use pictures, only thing they suggest is that you should use borders on ads, but ofcourse the semi-nude pics are issue. So just for the sake of testing something different shouldn't he changes those pics to something less "sexy" , say two ads on two cheeks of a baby's face(of course it would be out of site's theme) and put ads with border and ask google if its ok :).

now don't flame me for giving suggestions on askng google about this, well i think adsense support team is for getting all these issue clear :)
just my thoughts and no way am i suggesting this to anyone

Thanks corinaw. This has been my concern since the day i created this product. I took me only 3 days to do this script and did that crappy site. I don't think of promoting it anyway... As for this thread, i started it as an adsense joke which has nothing to do with my script... there is no way my script is going to display pictures that will risk an account like this (if you set it correctly). :D

You do not get it. It's just wrong. As an advertiser, (of a legit product) I would hate to that my ad was placed on a naked body just to call attention to it.

It may help you with ctr, but it's so inappropriate for the person paying for the ad. (maybe you should try porn)

As a publisher, your job is to have content that is real and relevent to the ad topic to justify you being paid by the advertizer..

If you want to keep trying tricking/blackhat tactic's, be my guest, but given your apparent expertise with your graphic product, you will be banned in very short order and have several lawsuits against you.

The sad part (that I know and that you don't) is you do not have to trick people to click on your ads at all. Totally above board ads/graphics and sites work really, really well.

    No tricks required.

No tricks just means sell a good product and do your job well. really just no tricks- I don't know what else to say about that.

I am so sorry- if it was a joke.

I just see too many people treat adsense like it was a joke, like adsense is a license to print money. And I hate to see even one of you smart guys loose the next 20 (or more) years of your web empire because of being to young, ( and so smart - (that is a joke )) and not taking adsense rev seriously.

My goal is that in ten years when you (smartpixsense) rule the web, you can still use adsense when it suits you, not exclude it because you were banned cause you were young and stupid.

So if I misjudged you sorry, if it was a joke sorry- You can do really well with adsense without tricks.

thanks for the advice, corinaw.

I own a hosting business for many years and have hundreds of websites (excluding my clients) to my name. Call me stupid or anything you want. I am still learning how to improve my sites and revenues everyday and it gets so bored often i need to do something silly just for laughs. Remember.. i am still young.
