Do you think there is something wrong with this page?

    Hi

I have a page on my website that contains unique and "optimised" content for a specific keyword. It has been on the site for about 6 months now but google doesn't seem to like it for some reason. Apart from the meta keywords and description, all content is unique on the page and informative. The meta keywords and description were supposed to be unique but a section broke on the website causing them to take the home page meta data instead (that will be fixed today).
If i search for the keyword it is targetting i cannot find it in the top 11 pages (got bored so didn't go deeper). If i copy and paste the URL into google, it doesn't appear at all to start with, however at the bottom of the results it says:

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 7 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

If i click the link then the page appears 6 out of 9!

If i check the PR then it says N/A, now i don't get hung up on PR but as it says N/A rather than 0, does this mean it is being discounted by google?

Would the meta description/keywords being the same as the home page have that much of an effect or do you think there is something else wrong with it?

If the meta description/keywords match the content, it will be ok. I would run it through a site validator to see where the problem is. If the bots cannot read or easily follow your site, it won't index a page, which sounds like what is happening with you. Broken links are the most common reason, but if you make use of the follow/no follow, index/no-index, then that could be a problem too. Also check your Sitemap and robots.txt file.
