Do you think there is 10 000+ free directories on the internet???

I guess that more 10k directories are on web. IS there any list for this?

 

I doubt it. My guess is that phpld and phplb will have the biggest lists combined, in terms of the email addresses and domains of everyone who has downloaded their scripts. The figure for phpld downloads must be well over 40000 now, because I think that number has been advertised for quite a while. All you need to do is estimate what kind of market share that script has internationally, and that will give you some idea of the scale of the task.

 

phpld and phplb are the best scripts to use period. Nothing is worse then going to a directory and having to dig and dig and dig somemore just to find the submit link button. Then you have to fill in an oversized field just to submit your site.

 

There is probably more than 50k of directories.
