I've been reading all the news on the new hybrid Chevrolet Volt . It actually looks promising and MIGHT have a chance to save GM if this get pass down to all other models. I've never been a fan of american cars though mind you. More a Euro/Jap kinda guy. But i'm glad they are at least trying to compete. And the Volt actual looks good too, both in and out.

Not a chance unless they develop a better battery. Thats been the stumbling block of all electric cars.

Yes it will stand a chance. They're pumping tons of money into the Lordstown complex. Afterall, Lordstown has been producing the Cobalt and the G5 right now and the Cobalt has been one of their top selling models. I'm glad they have been hiring new people from all over and recently added the third shift (mind you after wiping it out).

I sure hope it does succeed because my family depends on that.
