    I think the old one lion king stories is can't beaten by the the new one, :D

    i think they are making a remake, you know disney, as long as they get their money :( I don't think it will be as good though.

    From what I understand, it is the same Lion King it has just been remastered and will be shown in 3D. I for one am really looking forward to it, especially seeing the wildebeest stampede in 3D

    I don't see any reasons for making remakes for old cartoons except merchant ones.
    Lion King was one of the most exiting cartoons I've ever watched and 3D format won't make it better, but my wallet will be thinner after the cinema visiting!:)

    You mean the one coming out in September? That's the same exact movie as the old one lol. I don't care though I'm going with my gf to watch it. We love the Lion King. So much nastalgia.
