For me it already did. I don't watch TV now.

Much possible. Internet will soon replace TV.

Well, I agree more and more people turn to the Internet, for they can get the info anytime, anywhere and skip the commercial, if they want, but the TV can still have its place, just like the radio and the newspaper.

Yup. Many others have said the same thing, but the internet has already replaced TV for me as well. The shows that I do watch, I watch online. It's very rare that I use the TV anymore.

I think TV and INternet will be twisted together, coz they have the similar tech basis and they are all media.

Definitely the internet will replace TV; but there are certain conditions to be met.
    They are
    1. The cost of PC should go down and equals the cost of TV or better still fall below that
    2. The speed of the net. It should be reliable and sufficiently speedy enough to allow streaming videos.
In developing countries, we are provided with a broadband connection which is not really broadband. It looks as if it is a scaled up version of the dial up. The actual speed should be somewhere more than 2 mbps. Then only you can enjoy it.
    3. The cost of the broadband - should be economical. otherwise none will opt for it. :)

    Actually it already has.

I heard on the news the other day that people spend more time on the internet than watching TV.

Personally I expect 3D virtual world games (like Everquest, Second Life, etc.) to eventually replace TV shows and movies. Would you rather be "told" what to think? Or interact and make your own decisions.

I don't think the TV will go anywhere I believe it's going to be a marriage of the 2 full fledged internet experience on your tv.
