I watch the tv but not as much as i am in the internet. I listen to news through the internet. I would like my monitor to be my tv. Hope they would make the internet much faster and much cheaper. Do you think in the future the tv would be obsolete? and the net would rule?. Like everyone here while watching the internet you can also make money from it. it is full of knowledge you dont even have to go to college if you are wiling to learn. i just think of the unlimited possbilites of the internet. what do you think of the advantages and the disadvantages?. is it better to invest in the internet than it is to land? make your life the internet. work on it everyday for the rest of you life. I was thinking to put my life to risk and make my future to be in the internet. Dreaming to make millions someday from products i make through the net.

    yup it sure will
there are already webtv or advanced HD monitor/tv things.
and also more and more products/hardware are sold to change your pc to both TV and PC.

Defo my man. When streaming speeds ramp up a little more and especially with the new p4p protocol. The speed and quality will be such that watching TV on a window on your PC or wirelessly sent to your big screen TV will be the norm.

In my humble opinion of course

Yeah, the Internet is definitely pushing the TV away from the spotlights but I think that there's nothing that can replace the Gud 'Ol TV. Some things can't be seen on the net.

I spent a few days with friends recently, skiing, and we rented this condo that had tv and also wifi.
I had my laptop with me and we ended up spending a lot more time on the net than on tv.

Whether to check the weather, to watch videos, or whatever else.

I think that we are getting close to the turning point.

I watch my tv through my computer I even have a channel changer and everything so I can be on my tread mill and watch tv through the computer. I can watch dvd's record my favorite shows stop or pause shows so I can grab some more water and then pick up where I left off. I think the two are one for me and it is more of terminaology of how I am using the one device I still say I am watching tv or a movie even if it is on my computer.
