do you think that design is good enough [suggestion]

Hey everybody.. how are you all !!

I just bought a domain name .. and got a theme and made a very normal logo. do you think if the site looks ok and i should start posting or i need more tweaks.

i like the colors, not a fan of the font but thats just my opinion, what type of content are you going to post on there?

heh that sucks, i love the way the sociable looks, i would love to add it to my sites,

ummm regarding design maybe a graphic header or something to make the whole layout a little more captivating

 

oh you should also change your permalink structure, for better SEO

 

yeah i will change that. Can you help me in one thing. when i click on my posts to read more i see the duplicate post. check one of my posts you will understand.

 

im not sure i completely understand, when i click the post link the whole post shows, that is correct?

 

ahhhhh ok i see it now, thats kinda strange.... its probably just a <php> tag calling the header which you could possibly remove from teh template for "Posts.php"

 

can you explain a bit ?

 

i dont understand the site...the logo is very plain which would be ok if the site wasnt also so plain...there is really no contrast to it...just imo...good luck

 

probably a problem with the theme, go into edit theme, and see if you can paste the posts.php code in here ill take a quick peek at it

i see the problem but i need to see the php code for post.php

 

there is no posts.php in my ftp, but when i login to wp there is a file called single post.php.
Here what it shows in file

 

thats why themes suck...it wouldnt be in your posts page.... 3 things

1) did you add a more tag to your post?
2) go to ftp wp-content>themes>"your theme" and thats where your files are or you can go to editor in dashboard
3) paste your index.php page

 

these are available to edit in my wp theme editing section

 

yeah, ok so you didnt install wordpress your just working from yoursite.wordpress.com huh? More then likley there will be a setting for your template inside the wordpress admin CP,

i have personally never used a wordpress hosted site, i always installed them on my own servers
