Next time, post in the appropriate section: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=23 That aside, it looks good. However, no one uses flash anymore, and the thought of a web-dev company using 100% flash for their website is a major turn away.
thanks for the feedback brandon, I am still new to the forum and didn't know that a section for website reviews existed. I am aware of all the hype around HTML5, but I don't think it will replace flash any soon and I don't see any valid reason for not using it!! my target audience is small business owner and I am not sure that they will run to their ipads to access my website. cheers
Well, I believe over 2 percent of ALL web traffic is on iOS devices, meaning devices that do not support flash. However, my point was more along the lines of SEO and useability. Your site could be done completely using ajax, and get the same exact effect if you so desired. Flash just isn't necessarily search-friendly. HTML5 will some day replace flash/silverlight. Maybe not completely, but it will be the go-to and will be that standard as far as wide-audience compatibility is concerned because all browsers will start supporting it by default without any extra plugins!
